Essential Step to Good Feng Shui

Set Your Goals and Intentions...

In order to get what you want, you have to know what you want.

Imagine...

If a magical genie popped up in front of you and said, "I will grant you an unlimited supply of wishes," what would they be?

Nothing is too great or too small.

Hmmm...gets you thinking, doesn't it!

What do you desire most in life?

What experiences would you like to have?

What kind of health and fitness levels would you like to achieve?

What quality of relationships would you like to experience?

Where would you like to travel?

How much money would you like to have?

How would you like to spend it?

In the practice of feng shui, there are specific ways to adjust, encourage and manipulate the energy in your home or workspace to help fulfill your goals...but first, you have to know what your goals are.

Create a list of your goals. Be sure to cover all the areas of your life. Feng shui separates them into these areas: career/life path, family, wealth, reputation/fame, love & relationships, children, creativity, travel, helpful people, health and your self.

write down a list of all your goals and intentions.

Opportunity is knocking...at your front door!

In feng shui, your front door (the one a guest comes to the first time they visit), represents the mouth of the home.

It's the entry point for all energy.

Make sure it's in great condition and working well.

Create an Enticing Entryway

Try these solutions...

  • Have a clearly marked address. If they can't see it from the road and it's easy to bypass your home or office, imagine the energy could be passing you by.
  • If it's an office, make sure you or your company's name clearly visible.
  • Welcome guests with a welcome mat. Not a tattered, worn out mat but one that is truly welcoming.
  • Fresh flowers and greenery always make a good impression. Make sure they are fresh not dying or dead.
  • Make sure the door opens easily. Since your front door represents your opportunities, make sure it's not stuck.
  • Keep the area around the door clutter-free. If it's hard to maneuver
your way in, you're making an obstacle for energy as well.
Have a positive view upon entering. A piece of artwork, a photograph or a sculpture rather than a pile of shoes, a recycling bin and a stack of bills.

Take a walk out to your front door and look at it as if you are the opportunity that is knocking. Do you feel welcome? If anything needs repairing or enhancing, make a list and take care of it as soon as possible.
